I Moved To New York!

April 2026

I moved into a 4 bed, 2 bath sublease in Chelsea on 8th Ave near 15th St across from the Google office.
- Moved here with a friend from Tufts, Arjun.
- Met 2 new, awesome people (roommates) Deepen and Saahil.
- Super convenient being right on top of the A,C,E, L trains.
I started working "in-person" at the local WeWork (154 W 14th St) daily, even though my job at Drumkit was remote.
- Bless Drumkit for the global WeWork subscription! I also used in Europe (Prague was great).
I enjoyed living next to Chelsea Piers, Chelsea Market, and the High Line.
I started climbing consistently again! Got a membership at Vital (mainly went to LES, sometimes Williamsburg).

Decided to explore new work opportunities in NYC, and landed an offer at Hanover Park on May 8th!
- Had a great time interviewing and signed the offer the day after my work trial.
- Set my start date as May 25th, to close out my time at Drumkit (2 weeks)
Birthday May 22nd !! 23 years old now, world is my oyster!!
Started working at Hanover Park!!
Road trip with roommates to Montreal to watch an F1 race for the first time!

Had a great first month at Hanover Park!
- Very busy! First time in-person 5x/week. Shipped a lot and had a great impact in month 1.
Fun father's day with parents and grandparents.
Got closer with some people I met in NYC!
Had a lot of good climbing sessions with friends and with coworkers.
Ate lots of good food!

Moved out of sublease July 10th.
Couch surfed with the homies in Greenpoint for a bit.
Backpacking/camping trip at Harriman State Park July 18-20 (3 days, 2 nights).
- Ate sooo many wild blueberries and wineberries.
Finished month 2 at Hanover Park!
Moved into new apartment on July 26th!
- First official lease in NYC! Signed a 2 year lease.
